Welcome to the Stratford Dog Park!

We are located at 159 Packham Road, Stratford, Ontario.

With its 6 acres of open field, a natural grass area, wooded pathways and a small creek, the varied terrain makes the park a safe and pleasant experience for both dog and owner.

 

With the park’s additional interior fencing, you are afforded the choice of entering the woods, romping the fields, or enjoying the small and vulnerable dog area.

The park is open year-round, with plenty of free parking. There is running water during the warmer months, along with bowls for filling, and pools for wading in.

Garbage cans are situated outside the entry gates and biodegradable poop bags are available (thanks to our sponsors).

There are no visitor fees to access the park. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-long.

While membership is not mandatory to be in the park, your small yearly fee and any small donation can make a big difference in helping us maintain this beautiful space.

Thanks to our generous community partners, there are HUGE DISCOUNTS and PERKS for becoming a member — and renewing it annually.  

Most members make their $20 membership fee back the first time they purchase dog food using their membership discount.

Rules, Regulations, Etiquette

Packer Park is a “Use At Your Own Risk” Dog Park. The City of Stratford and the Stratford Dog Park Association assume no responsibility for any injuries or damage that may occur during the use of the Park.

We have established some basic rules and responsibilities to keep you, your dog, and everyone safe, attending the park.

If you've been seeing some blue pee in the snow at the park -- DON'T PANIC! It's not antifreeze or something chemical. It's actually bunny urine.⁠ ⁠ Yes, bunnies pee blue when they've been munching on⁠ European buckthorn. As weird as it is it's true.
